This four-day package tour departs from Tokyo and takes you to Mt. Fuji and Hakone, Takayama, Shirakawa-go, and Kanazawa.
See the nature and history of rural Japan. Visit Mt. Fuji, Japan's highest peak and most famous symbol. Spend the evening in the historical mountain resort area of Hakone before traveling to Takayama. The schedule from Day 2 on is the same as the Takayama Express 3-Day Tour. Visit one of Japan's foremost mountain resorts and see a unique mountain lifestyle.

Baggage
One Way Trip Plan Your baggage will be transported by land from Hakone to Kyoto on Day 2. Each person will be allowed one piece of baggage. For overnight stays in Takayama and Kanazawa, we recommend that you carry a light overnight bag. Additional baggage will require an extra fee of JPY 2,200 per item.
Round Trip Plan Baggage carriage is not included. Please carry your baggage on your own. However, trains don not have areas for storing large pieces of baggage. We recommend leaving large pieces of baggage at your hotel in Tokyo while you travel by train.

REMARKS
Remarks regarding "Mt. Fuji - Hakone Tour" for Day 1. 1. When the Fuji Visitor Center is closed or if the tour is behind schedule due to traffic, the Fuji Visitor Center may be skipped. 2. The road to Mt. Fuji's 5th station is sometimes closed due to heavy snows in the winter and the early spring. If this is the case, or if the tour is behind schedule due to some operational reasons, you will go to the highest possible point. 3. Although the Hakone Ropeway and the Owakudani Valley or Pirate Boat may also be substituted depending upon traffic and weather conditions or for other operational reasons; the tour will not be cancelled and the tour fee will not be refunded. In the case that one or both of the destinations are omitted, you will enjoy one of the following alternatives: Narukawa Museum in Hakone, Hakone Check Point, Cruise on Lake Kawaguchi, Kawaguchiko Ropeway, Hakone-en Aquarium, or Hakone Jinja Shrine. Your tour guide will finalize alternatives based upon careful consideration of tour logistics and other conditions. 4. We recommend you to bring an overcoat or other warm clothing during the autumn and the winter. 5. The tour will not be cancelled nor refunded if you are unable to see the full view of Mt. Fuji due to weather conditions.
Takayama Express Remarks 1. Please dress casually and wear shoes comfortable for walking and also bring a coat or warm clothes from the chilly month of October to the snowy month of February. 2. When the former Toyama family residence is closed, or during days of heavy snow in the winter, a visit will be made to the Gassho-zukuri Folklore Park, the Nagase residence, or Myozenji Temple. 3. Lake Miboro may be skipped if there is heavy snow. 4. Depending upon traffic, weather conditions, or other operational needs, a motorcoach may be used to transfer from Nagoya Station to Takayama Station 5. When booking three people in one room, Japanese-Western-style rooms will be arranged for Deluxe room in Hida Hotel Plaza. Enjoy sleeping in a futon on tatami mats. 6. Visits to Kusakabe Folk Museum and Kamisanno Town may be changed to the following day. 7. This tour is offered to travelers from overseas only.
